Two athletes of Kakatiya University won medals at the All India Inter University Athletics Championship held at Anna University, Coimbatore held during January 11 to 16, 2017.  Ch Sudhir of SR & BGNR,Khammam bagged Gold in the 100 mt run finishing in 10.53 seconds which is an Inter University record.  M. Veludurai Pandian of New Science Degree College, Warangal won silver medal finishing  200 mt  in 21.77 seconds.  Vice-Chancellor Prof. R. Sayanna, Registrar Prof. M.V. Ranga Rao, Sports Board Secretary Dr. Gade Pani congratulated the athelets for bringing laurels to the Kakatiya University with their performance.
