IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The Universities of the Central Zone are invited for participation in the INTER-UNIVERSITY CENTRAL ZONE YOUTH FESTIVAL 2013. They are requested to send their entries as early as possible but not later than November 4, 2013.

IDENTITY CARD/ ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATES/ RESUME FORMS

1. The students must carry their identity cards issued by their respective University / College. The team managers should submit valid identity cards of the participants for verification at the time of registration.
2. The Eligibility Certificates signed by the Director / Dean / Principal of the institute / College and countersigned by the Dean of Students' Welfare / Cultural Coordinator / Registrar is a must and should tally with the above documents.
3. The age of the participants should not be more than 25 years as on July 01, 2013.

CONTINGENT SIZE

The maximum size of the contingent will be not more than 40, including contingent in charge. [Extra members coming with the team will not be entitled. They have to make their own arrangements for the board and lodging.]

CONTINGENT LEADER / INCHARGE

A maximum two Contingent Leaders / In-charges will be allowed to accompany the team. It is advisable to have Lady Team Manager in case there are female participants. (But the total number of contingent should not exceed 40.)

REGISTRATION FEES

Registration Fees @ 300/- per person will be charged from the participants, accompanists and the officials of the team. The fees will be required to be sent to the Host University by October 26, 2012 positively and the DD drawn in Favor of REGISTRAR FUND ACCOUNT, KAKATIYA UNIVERSITY (052026910378), payable at STATE BANK OF HYDERABAD, KU Branch (IFSC Code: SBHY0020262).

CAUTION DEPOSIT

A sum of 1000/- refundable caution money has to be deposited at Kakatiya University by each team at the time of the registration. The cost of any loss / damage to the property will be deducted from the caution deposit.

BOARD & LODGING

Board and lodging arrangement will be available for the participants. Hostel rooms will be provided to the participants. The temperature in the month of November will be pleasant. Participants are requested to bring light bedding, mosquito net, clothing, bed spreads etc.

Team managers will be housed in Hostels / Guest Rooms. Since there is limited accommodation in the Guest House, priority will be given to Judges, Invited Guests and AIU officials.

FOOD

Food shall be provided from November 18, 2013 (lunch) till the lunch time on November 22, 2013.

FLAGS & BANNERS

The team managers should bring two Flags, Posters / Banners of their respective University and deposit one flag at the time of registration and they should retain Banner, Poster and one flag for the Procession (Rally)

RULES & REGULATIONS

Any form of indecent behavior either from a student, accompanist or team on the University campus will lead to disciplinary action. This may lead to the team debarring from participation from the event / festival. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Consumption of liquor / smoking
• Eve teasing
• Influencing the judges
• Going to the press against the University on any controversial issue
• Indecent behavior inside and outside the campus and venue.
