Best NSS Programme Coordinator Award-2013-14:
For the year 2013-14 National Service Scheme Cell, Kakatiya University has been awarded best in the Telangana State by the State Government. The Programme Coordinator Dr. Suresh Lal is receiving Best NSS Programme Coordinator Award from the chairman TSCHE Prof. T. Papireddy and DIG of Warangal Dr. Kantha Rao for rendering their highest community rural reconstruction services.

Dr. Suresh Lal and five Programme Officers have been received Best Motivator Awards from the district Collect Sri. G. Kishan for motivating the student of various degree and PG colleges for highest enrollments as voters i.e., 57,000 in the district.

Dr. B. Suresh Lal awarded NEHS Global Green Star Award of Excellence for the year 2013 by US based Nexus Eclat Honours Society for his outstanding services and contribution in the field of Environment. He was instrumental for more than four lacks saplings planted by NSS in the University campus and various colleges under Kakatiya jurisdiction.

Dr. B. Suresh Lal has been awarded “The President’s Volunteer Service Award” and congratulation letter from the USA President Mr. Barack Obama for the year 2012 by the US National Community Service for his contributions to the community service as a volunteer and programme officer of the NSS for more than two decades. The award was receiving from Dr. RM Dobriyal, the Additional Secretary Higher Education Department, Hyd.

Social Service Award-2012 & 2014:
Dr Lal has received Social Service Awards for his services rendered at Medaram Sammakka-Sarakka Jathara in 2010, 2012 and 2014.
Dr Suresh has also received good number of awards and appreciation for his motivational services rendered to the volunteers and created awareness among the rural youth on HIV/ AIDS and Public Health Issues from government official as NSS programme coordinator in the Kakatiya University jurisdiction.
