The Statistical Cell is headed by a Nodal Officer. The cell is responsible for the collection of data, compilation and maintenance of data on various parameters of higher education in respect of faculties as well as Constituent/ Affiliated colleges.

During the academic year, the Nodal Officer approached various colleges under the jurisdiction of Kakatiya University to obtain the Statistical information in respect of the students admitted to various under-graduate and post-graduate courses, M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes, appointments to the teaching and non-teaching posts and facilities provided to students in the colleges.

As per the UGC guidelines, within 14 days of the completion of admissions, the colleges should furnish complete and comprehensive statistical information on admissions, appointments of the teaching and non-teaching posts for all courses. The information obtained has been tabulated by the Nodal Officer as per the requirements of the UGC, Government of India and the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
