-- Appointed Director of NIPER

Prof. A. Raghurama Rao, Senior professor of Kakatiya University Pharmacy College has been appointed director of prestigious National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali, Punjab for a period of five years. He has receive communication to this effect on Tuesday.  Having more than 30 years of teaching and research experience in the field of pharmacy, he guided 24 research scholars for their Ph.D., 10 major research projects; published research papers in national and international journals.  He was honoured with Best Teacher award by the Telangana government in 2016; Dr. Mrs. Manjushree Pal Memorial Award in 2010; Young Teachers Award in 1995 by AICTE.  He visited USA, Germany and UAE in pursuit of his research.  Prof. Raghurama Rao strived for the development of the KU Pharmacy College as principal, dean, department head, Board of Studies Chairperson.  Faculty, Research Scholars and Students have congratulated him on his appointment as Director.
