Prof. T. Ravi Prasad, retired professor of Kakatiya University has been appointed Executive Member of University of Hyderabad. The Vice-Chancellor of University of Hyderabad has communicated his appointment as EC member by the president of India. Prof. Ravi Prasad worked for more than four decades and held many administrative positions at Kakatiya University. He was adviser to  Dravidian University Distance Education Centres and member of Distance Education Council, IGNOU, New Delhi. For Kakatiya and S.V. Universities, he was member of Academic Senate. He visited Hong Kong, Thailand, South Korea, Singapore, Dubai, USA and Canada as part of his academic pursuit.  On the occasion, he thanked the president of India  for reposing confidence in him by his appointment as EC member.
