The Kakatiya University Library & Information Science department is organising  a two workshop on “Information Literacy and Scholarly Publishing” on 19-20^th March, 2016 in collaboration with Academy of Library Science and Documentation, Hyderabad. Workshop director, department head,  B. Radhika Rani said that this work shop would cover identifying quality and authoritative resources on the web, effective use of open access resources, search strategies and retrieval methods, use of databases, citation styles, plagiarism and intellectual property rights and copyright.  Experts from Library and Information Science field would deliver lectures apart from  hands on experience, she explained.
