Educational standards are my first priority: KU VC Prof. R. Sayanna

The meeting of Principals, Directors and representatives of Professional affiliated colleges of Kakatiya University was held in the Senate Hall of the University on Tuesday afternoon.  Addressing the meeting, Vice-Chancellor Prof. R. Sayanna asserted that maintaining educational standards is his first priority and there would be no compromise to achieve it.  He said that the Telangana government is also very keen in respect of maintaining standards in education.   He exhorted the college managements impart quality education to the students.  “University does not mean only its campus and colleges, but  includes its all private affiliated colleges too” he said. University’s reputation depends on its colleges and there are not separate. He would interact with the college representatives frequently to sort out the issues. “You can post any issue related to your colleges to my mail directly,” he said. There should be healthy competition among colleges, Prof. R. Sayanna wished.  College Development Council Dean Prof. G. Gangadhar Reddy  advised them to use biometric system maintenance of attendance of students and Teachers as well.  Universtiy Registrar Prof M.V. Ranga Rao, Academic Affairs Dean Prof. T. Ramesh, Deans of faculties, principals, directors, management representatives of professional colleges in large number took part
