Infrastructural facilities

        Initially the Department was housed in an old building, but later on two lecture halls and two research rooms were added with the financial assistance from University. It has two independent laboratories, a staff room, and library / seminar room. Two more spacious laboratories with all facilities have come up with an estimated expenditure of about 20 lakhs with the financial assistance from UGC, University and its own resources.

            Over the years, the Department has procured all the basic requirements such as chemicals, equipment instruments, furniture, teaching aids (OHP &DLP) needed for the effective instruction of theory and practicals. Through the financial assistance from UGC and FIST (DST), the department has developed Internet facility and central Instrumentation room for the use of students, research scholars and faculty.
